Terms of Service

1. ReviewAfterPay service

ReviewAfterPay provides subscription software for U.S. trade and service businesses. The service can connect with supported payment providers, beginning with Square, and can send neutral customer review or feedback requests after confirmed payments.

2. Subscription and free trial

ReviewAfterPay costs $24.99 USD per month after a 14-day free trial. Unless cancelled before the end of the trial, the subscription will begin billing automatically using the payment method provided through Stripe. There is no long-term contract.

You may cancel through your ReviewAfterPay billing controls. A cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid billing period.

3. Merchant responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of their account details, review destination, customer contact information, and configuration. By using ReviewAfterPay, merchants represent that they are authorised to provide and use customer contact information for the configured workflow and that they have obtained any consent or other lawful permission required for those communications. Merchants must use ReviewAfterPay in accordance with applicable law, messaging and opt-out requirements, and the rules of any review platform they use.

ReviewAfterPay must not be used to mislead customers, manipulate reviews, selectively request reviews based on expected sentiment, or offer improper incentives in exchange for positive reviews.

4. Neutral review requests

ReviewAfterPay is designed to send neutral requests for customer feedback. Customers decide whether to leave a review and what feedback or rating to provide.

5. Third-party services

ReviewAfterPay relies on third-party services including payment, email, hosting, and integration providers. Square is the current launch payment integration for merchant payment events. Stripe is used for ReviewAfterPay subscription billing.

Third-party services are subject to their own terms, availability, and policies.

6. No guaranteed results

ReviewAfterPay does not guarantee review volume, ratings, customer sentiment, search rankings, business growth, revenue, or other commercial results.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features, integrations, and these terms may change as the service develops.

8. Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or suspended for non-payment, misuse, security concerns, legal requirements, or material violations of these terms.

9. Fees, cancellations and refunds

Subscription charges are billed through Stripe. Merchants may cancel before the end of a trial or current billing period to prevent the next renewal. Except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed otherwise, amounts already charged are non-refundable. Applicable taxes may be added where required.

10. Intellectual property

ReviewAfterPay and its software, branding, website content, workflows, and related technology are owned by ReviewAfterPay or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Merchants retain ownership of their own business information and customer data, subject to the rights needed for ReviewAfterPay to provide the service.

11. Governing law

These terms and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except to the extent that mandatory applicable law requires otherwise. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ReviewAfterPay is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service or from third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
